Pressure

Pile it all on my back.
Add weight to my shoulders.
I start to sweat.
My knees buckle.
My bones break.

As Life Fades

Immersed in a blinding white light,
In the blink of an eye,
Am I content with what I have done in my life?

Unforgiving Tide

Chain me to an anchor,
Toss me into the sea.
Straight to the floor.
No choice but to sink.

You smile wide
As you watch me drown.
This unforgiving tide
will make sure I am never found.

Its now or never.
My time to rise.
I'll shine forever.
Lighten the darkness from your eyes.

My body might be broken.
You may feel like you have won.
Remember these words I have spoken.
My spirit will live on.

I lay here in my watery grave,
And let the sea water fill my lungs.
I would rather die than be your slave.
I will rise like the morning sun.

Not even death can conquer me,
No matter how hard you try.
My soul will be set free.
I will haunt you for the remainder of your life.
